CORIOLIS FORCE PRINCIPLE: The Coriolis effect, simply known as Coriolis force, describes how the linear motion of a mass point in a rotating system is offset due to inertia. This principle is at the heart of our mass flow meter technology. In essence, the fluid to be measured travels through a vibrating tube, akin to linear motion. The tube's vibration creates an angular velocity, maintained at a fixed frequency by an external electromagnetic field. Consequently, the fluid's Coriolis force within the tube directly correlates with its mass and velocity. By calculating the product of mass and speed—essentially the flow velocity—we determine the mass flow rate. Thus, the fluid's Coriolis force provides an accurate measure of its mass flow in the pipeline.
